VELUTO, based in Freiburg, is developing a software platform for autonomous urban mobility. Instead of focusing on cars, the company is building autonomy for e-bikes, cargo bikes and lightweight delivery vehicles — the exact form factors that can make future cities more efficient, space-saving and sustainable.

The challenge was to translate a highly complextechnology topic into a narrative that investors, cities and strategic partnerscould immediately understand and emotionally connect with.

Together with the founding team, Brandangels developed the brand positioning and sharpened the vision behind VELUTO: an intelligent operating system for urban mobility. The technology combines autonomy software, fleet orchestration, sensor integration and digital infrastructure into a connected mobility ecosystem for cities.

Our work focused on:

• AI-generated future city visuals and motion concepts

• explainer graphics for the platform technology

• the first digital brand presence including website concept

The communication centered around topics such as autonomous last-mile logistics, low-speed urban autonomy, intelligent fleet management and scalable software models for cities and mobility operators.

The result was a much clearer and more emotional communication approach for a Deep-Tech company — using visual storytelling and cinematic imagery to make advanced technology understandable without oversimplifying it.
